This series of books, entitled 'Al-Bukhari's Authentic Hadiths', is a highly respective collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which is also known as the Sunnah. This is Book 1 of the series. It is entitled “Revelation“

Bukhari, who lived two centuries after the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) death, worked exceedingly hard to collect this information. Each report in his collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur’an, and the veracity of the chain of reporters had painstakingly bean established. 

Bukhari’s collection of Hadiths is accepted by the majority of the Muslim world. It is regarded as one of the most authentic collections of sayings and deeds of The Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, it is important to realise that Bukhari’s collection of Hadiths is only one of many. There are several other scholars who worked as hard as Bukhari did and collected other authentic Hadiths.

Narrated ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab:

I heard Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h.) saying, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.”
